I used to live by the Moray Firth in Scotland, where the coastline stretched wide, skies shifted constantly, and the sea carried both calm and storm. Life there was shaped by the rhythm of tides, seabirds overhead, and the raw beauty of a landscape that kept you humble.
Now I live in the Jaén province of Andalucía, surrounded by endless olive groves and golden hills that glow under the Spanish sun. It’s a world of heat, stillness, and ancient trees—so different from Scotland’s cool, windswept shores.
And yet, both places share something timeless: a connection to nature, space to breathe, and a beauty that sparks creativity. Whether it’s the northern light dancing on water or the southern dawn spilling across the mountains, both landscapes whisper inspiration into my work at Edgy Edge Art.
